Regular Season Round 22: Mega BG - Buducnost 93-79

Third defeat of league's leader MontenegrinBuducnost (19-3) against tenth ranked Serbian Mega BG (11-11) 93-79 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Buducnost. Mega BG shot 62.5 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Bogoljub Markovic (210-2005) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Mihailo Petrovic (190-2003) contributed with 19 points and 8 assists for the winners. American point guard McKinley Wright IV (182-1998, college: Colorado) replied with 12 points and 8 assists and Nigerian-American Rasheed Sulaimon (194-1994, college: Maryland) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Buducnost. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mega BG moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Zadar and FMP BG. Defending Montenegrin champion Buducnost dropped to the second position with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Partizan.
